Disturbed tour 2022 wer ist die vorband

Asylum Tour was a concert tour by American heavy metal band Disturbed in support of the group's fifth studio album, Asylum, which was released in August 2010.[1]

The tour began in mid-August 2010 with an appearance as part of a series of concerts held during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in Sturgis, South Dakota, United States.[2] This was followed by the commencement of the Uproar Festival, a North American touring event which features Disturbed as headliners and includes acts such as Avenged Sevenfold, Stone Sour and Hellyeah.[3] The festival began in Minneapolis and culminated in Madison, Wisconsin in early October.

In October 2010, it was reported that David Draiman was diagnosed with a "serious throat condition" and, as a result, ten headline U.S. shows following the culmination of the Uproar Festival were canceled.[4] The group reconvened in mid-November for a European leg of the "Taste of Chaos" package tour, which featured Papa Roach, Buckcherry and Halestorm, as well as Disturbed.[5] The leg began in Helsinki and wrapped up in Nottingham, United Kingdom in mid-December.

In mid-January 2011, the band commenced a U.S. leg of the self-created package tour, "Music as a Weapon V", beginning in Bloomington, Illinois. The tour featured co-headliners Korn, as well as acts Sevendust and In This Moment. In April 2011, the tour came to Oceania, with acts Trivium, As I Lay Dying and Forgiven Rival in tow. The Oceania leg began in Perth, Australia and finished in Christchurch, New Zealand.

Lead singer David Draiman has stated that the production levels for the tour will surpass those on previous tours, with an aspect "that no one has ever seen from Disturbed live — very theatrical, very dramatic, very visually stimulating".[6] Radio show hardDrive commented on the stage show, calling it "a total assault of the senses".[7]

"101 WRIF is thrilled to once again present Riff Fest at the legendary Pine Knob during their 50th anniversary celebration, while also bringing Disturbed back to the Motor City for the first time since 2019 to headline the show!" said WRIF Program Director Jade Springart. "We have an amazing group of support artists including In This Moment, Dirty Honey and The Violent. We are looking forward to bringing rock fans together for a full day of music and more at Riff Fest on September 24, 2022!"

Riff Fest 2022 will take place on September 24 at the Pine Knob Music Theatre in Clarkston, MI. Tickets are available here. And who knows – maybe we'll even have some new Disturbed music in our hands by then?

Disturbed's first new album in four years Divisive is out now, but don't expect that to correlate with an ongoing touring schedule over the next few years.

In an interview with Andy Hall with Lazer 103.3, Disturbed vocalist David Draiman was asked if the band will hit the road as hard as they can in support of the record. To which Draiman essentially replied, "eh, not really" before revealing that Disturbed's live shows will be getting "more and more infrequent" over the years. The word "retirement" doesn't come up, but the phrase "more and more infrequent" seems to hint that maybe they're starting to wind down a little?

"Not as hard as you would imagine. We're planning on starting up in the spring. We've already announced a few shows here and there. We're trying to finalize all of our plans. But Disturbed performances will be getting more and more infrequent. We'll start up in the spring. We'll finish in the fall. There will be a full U.S. run. Exactly when we're going where, I don't know yet; it's still a moving target.

"I know we're planning to do a European festival run as well; a couple of those dates have been announced already. But it's tough to navigate the waters right now. So we're doing the best we can. Hopefully we'll be able to announce more as soon as it's able to be announced."

Much like all the other late '90s and early 2000s bands, Disturbed isn't getting any younger. And if the opportunity is there to tour less while keeping the band and themselves financially afloat, more power to 'em. It also helps that Disturbed has enough hits and much-loved songs among their fanbase that they can simply tour as a legacy act at this point. And why wouldn't they? The Sickness is approaching its 25th anniversary in 2025 – it's not like Disturbed needs to get their names out there anymore.
