Warum ist cat von victorious so komisch

Cat valentine, we all know her right? From Victorious to Sam & cat she’s over-all iconic. Known for her childish, cheerful, cute character in some point of our lives but we’ve wondered. Why does she act the way she does? Well some people just think that it’s just for attention or just trying to be noticed. While others think very different. You see, when we were first introduced to Cat valentines character, in season 1 of Victorious she seemed to be a normal teen right? But as all the other season progressed she began more and more.... child-like? Now I’ve watched Victorious and Sam & Cat in the same month. So I know the history of Cat and it’s honestly a bit abnormal that her whole personality just changed In the 3 seasons of victorious. Now it is assumed that cat has multiple personality disorders, and PSTD from her brother and or parents. I honestly agree, In several episodes of victorious she mentions her brother. Who is mentioned to be mentally unstable, so normally she often had to look after her brother which is older than her, I also think that her parents maybe abandoned her and or divorced earlier in her life and resulting in her have a lot of PSTD that being shown in a few episodes of victorious her saying “I’m under my bed” multiple times and literally fainting in between of beck and jade. So it is kind of obvious that she has some type of mental disorders. But many people don’t really know which ones, mind you this is my personal opinion I’ve researched and paid attention to her behavior through the shows, and these are the disorders she may have from her family life and or maybe even assault somewhere in her life. One of them is bipolar disorder, in one of the ending songs Robbie stated cat is bipolar and the bipolar symptoms pretty much matches cats whole personality. Feeling very happy for long periods of time, feeling chatty and thoughts racing, becoming easily distracted. Yup that’s her, so we pretty much already know she’s bipolar but I don’t think that’s the end to it, There’s hints In the show that cat was likely neglected as a child, being raised by her Nona which is a elderly woman, and with age comes forgetfulness and cat probably just thinking she doesn’t care about her. Well of course cat loves Nona a lot, we can see it when she was moving to a home. But she assumingely never had her parents love or they never paid attention to her and her being neglected. Kind of reversing her age to a child-like state reminding her of a simpler time, When her parents were there for her. It’s also a reason why she is always clinging on her friends, she was never noticed as a child so she wants to try again. (Sorry if it’s cringe or like doesn’t make any sense it’s my first theory!)

NICKELODEON sitcom Victorious was one of the most popular shows on the channel throughout the early 2010s.

Cat Valentine was one of the show's funniest and most animated characters, sometimes so animated to the point that she didn't know if she was coming or going.

Cat was known for her animated and at times erratic personality on Nickelodeon's Victorious

Why is Cat so crazy in Victorious?

Cat has a very big heart and is arguably the most loving and caring character on the show, but on the other hand she gets distracted easily and can be quite dim-witted.

On the flip side, Jade was the most feared and hated character on the show.

We know that Cat's brother suffered from mental health and her parents were not the most caring and affectionate people, which could explain Cat's erratic personality.

However, another reason could be that she is bipolar, as she does show traits associated with the disorder such as inflated self-esteem, being more talkative than usual and having racing thoughts.

Other reasons to explain Cat's animated nature could range from potential autism to suffering abuse from her unhinged brother.

Why did Victorious get cancelled?

Victorious was cancelled before season four was due to begin filming.

Nickelodeon then decided to split the third season in half, which enabled the show to run for four seasons.

Many believed the reason for its cancellation was due to the spin-off show Sam And Cat which aired several months after Victorious came to an end, but after the news broke back in 2012, show creator Dan Schneider indicated that the show had run its course and had nothing to do with the network's future projects.

He took to Twitter and wrote: "This was the network’s decision – not mine. Please understand: Almost all Nickelodeon shows have a life of about 60 episodes.

"I would love to have made more than 60 of Victorious, but that’s how it usually goes.  We’re extremely proud of the show, and all we’ve accomplished.

"The network’s decision about Victorious had nothing to do with 'Gibby' or 'Sam & Cat'.  I promise.  Even if there was no 'Gibby' and no 'Sam & Cat' – the network still would have ended Victorious after its 60-episode run."
