It is difficult to not contradict yourself when talking about gender or sexism topics (f.e. 1. stating she should have been born as a man because she prefers meat over salad or her not being the "typical woman" in general while this is actually a weird from of sexism itself since a woman or a man can eat or like whatever kind of sport while still being a man or a woman or an apache helicopter; 2. one of the

a woman or an apache helicopter; 2. one of the "jokes" that made me goggle the most was something like "when a woman is stumbling and babbling, that is how you see which of the party girls is the easiest to take home". o.O I was amazed she brought that joke while this is one of the biggest discussions Twitter & Co. is having (#metoo, what is consent etc.) or 3. making fun herself about guys who wear skinny jeans). PS: I had this audio book on my audible app for free. It was one of the welcoming gift audio books from audible when signing up.
Let's just try to understand everything of that program in a sarcastic and
society-critizing way... it still didn't make me laugh. One star for Kebekus' amazing talent of imitating different voices and having a pleasent story-telling voice-acting in general and the second star is for one math joke that made me snort a little.
Ich liebe die Wandlungsfähigkeit, die Carolin Kebekus in allen Rollen an den Tag legt. Besonders herrlich: ihre oberschlesische Oma!

Frau Kebekus' Live-Programm gefällt mir sehr gut, vor allem aus
feministischer Sicht. Umso erstaunter war ich, dass ihr Buch von Sexismus und sexistischen Stereotypen nur so trieft. Teilweise widerspricht sie sich selbst in ihren Anekdoten, sodass man sich als Leser*in fragen muss, ob hier überhaupt editiert wurde.
Ich kann nur annehmen, dass sie sich seit dem Erscheinen des Buches 2011 weiterentwickelt und für frauenspezifische Themen sensibilisiert hat und möchte ihr das zugute halten. Dennoch: Frau

Ohne Punkt und Komma wird eine „lustige“ Begebenheit an die nächste gehängt, Zusammenhänge findet man nicht unbedingt. Carolin Kebekus ist live so witzig, aber aufgeschrieben sind die Witze eben nur halb so lustig, wenn überhaupt. Das Buch hätte es wirklich nicht gebraucht. Ich dachte, als nettes Buch für nebenbei wäre es super, aber es war zum Großteil eine Qual zu lesen. Schuster, bleib bei deinen Leisten. Live toll und genial, aber als Buch absolut nicht zu empfehlen.

Ich liebe einfach diesen herrlichen Humor von Carolin. Ob auf der Bühne im Fernsehen oder in diesem sehr unterhaltsamen Buch :)

Der Betonbeauftragte... Some amazing, amazing jokes... Some (as always) not so much...
Manchmal fast schon etwas zu platt, aber auf jeden Fall auch sehr, sehr lustig. LOL-iRL-lustig. ;)
